As dawn breaks, the city’s inhabitants run to the corrals. It’s almost time, and they want a good spot to see La Suelta (The Release), which kicks off the bull run. On horseback and by foot, people gather around the Cega River corrals. It’s 08:00 in the morning, the time is almost here. People are nervous, seeking shelter in the open field. The horseback riders are waiting, until the gates finally open… the livestock stampede out of the corral, and it’s time for the horseback riders to control and guide the herd in the traditional method to the town centre.
